Time management

I need to manage my time better at school. This weekend I spent way too much time on school work. I spent 5 hours Saturday and 2 hours today. I plan to spend 2 more hours tonight as I correct Pre-Calc tests while watching the patriots game. This week I need to get the school work done while in school so I can relax and have more free time on the weekends. I did manage to relax by the fire pit for a few hours Friday night. Sitting by the fire on a chilly night is probably one of my favorite things to do.

Weekends are the worst for me time management wise. I work on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, so when I get home all I want to do is sleep. It makes for a busy Sunday night!

I need to do more school work at school too! I feel like that is all I do! Study, homework and maybe get two hours of sleep from all the work. Its awful! Soon im not going to be getting any beauty sleep and gosh darn, nobody wants to see that!

It's so hard to pick and choose times to let loose, relax, and try to force the overwhelming amount of work I have to do out of my mind. I love my fire pit at home! It's really the best.

Man, and I thought I had a lot of schoolwork to do. Being a teacher sounds tough.. but I'm sure it's also rewarding :)

One School One Book

I have been reading the book "The Day the World Came to Town" and something is on my mind that I have to share with everyone. Can you believe how incredibly generous and trusting the people in Gander are? I would like to think that I would be the same, but I am not sure. I know that I would definately bring supplies to where ever the people were being placed, but I am not sure that I would open my house up to strangers. I couldn't get over how people were invited into the homes to take showers and the home owners would leave the house and tell them to make themselves at home. I would like to think that I could be that way, but I am not sure I would. What about you? Could you be that trusting of stangers?

What are you reading?

Have you read any good books lately? I am trying to find a great book for the incoming freshmen to read over the summer. The current freshmen class read "The Number Devil", but they didn't like that choice so I am trying to find something more enjoyable for the students. Right now I am reading "October Sky" by Homer Hickham. I am only 60 pages into the book, but I am enjoying the little that I have read. I would like to hear about any books that you have read and would recommend.
