one month down - 9 to go

I can't believe how fast the first month of school went by. So many changes at school this year but the hardest one to get used to is the change in the class schedule. Instead of 90  minute classes we now have 60 minute classes and they go by so fast. This is going to take some time to get used to.  but I do like the 60 minutes because classes meet more often than the every other day we had last year.
The other adjustment I have to make this year is teaching an additional class while being department head. I have been putting in 10 hour days to get all my work done. Hopefully by the end of October I will be able to get everything done in 8-9 hour days so I can go enjoy some Norton sports games. when soccer games start at 3:30 I still have so much work to do I haven't gotten out of my office. I will soon, I promise.
