Christmas television

I love the season of holiday shows on television. Last night I watched "Santa Claus is coming to Town" and tonight I plan to watch "Frosty the Snowman" Monday the classic Charlie Brown Christmas is on at 9pm but before that is the special "Its your 50th Christmas Charlie Brown" The Polar Express is also on Monday night on ABC Family.
Tuesday is the start of 25 days of Christmas on ABC Family so you can find a Christmas show on at any time. Looking forward to "The Year Without a Santa Claus"
Less than 4 weeks until Christmas....are you ready?

Soccer Team off to State Championship

Last night I watched the boys soccer team defeat Swampscott in the State Semi-Final at Manning Field. I had such a great night watching an exciting game. I have so many soccer players in math classes and I am so happy for them and extremely proud of them. Good Luck Saturday!
You know I will be there cheering you on. Go Lancers!

Holiday Specials on Television

If you have been in a store recently you have seen all the Christmas items out, you have heard Christmas songs on the radio and the holiday shows are already on TV. The hallmark channel shows Christmas movies every night and all day on the weekends. The UP channel is showing 5 or 6 Christmas movies every week. I am watching a Christmas movie on Hallmark channel as I am typing this post. I am watching "Let it Snow"
I know that Thanksgiving comes before Christmas but there aren't many Thanksgiving specials other than Charlie Brown which I have watched twice this year and the Macy Thanksgiving day parade which I never miss.
The first Christmas special (non movie) is "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" on ABC the 27th of November at 8pm. Then ABC is airing Charlie Brown Christmas at 8pm on the 30th of November. As we get closer to those dates I will start listing all the specials so you don't miss any. or you can check out these websites.

Winter yet?

The temperature today was in the low 70's and I decorated the window of the math office with snow flakes. Too early?

I do love everything about this time of year. Halloween, Thanksgiving, snow storms and CHRISTMAS. I do need to slow down though and enjoy Thanksgiving before I go crazy about Christmas. and maybe those snow storms never happen, who knows? or this year could be like last year. It was quite warm on Christmas day because I have pictures of my son outside in shorts on a nice warm sunny day and then we had more snow than any other winter.
