I had to say goodbye to the class of 2013. Thanks for inviting me to the all night grad party. I think I had more fun than some of the graduates, I am always amazed at how easy it is for me to stay awake all night.
The other big event that has happened is my knee surgery. On June 17th I had total knee replacement. I knew there would be pain after this surgery, but didn't imagine this much pain. WOW! I can barely bend my knee so I can't go any where. Can't get in the car. I spend my days watching TV, reading, playing games on facebook, and doing my PT exercises. Now I think I will be spending more time on my blog.
I have a physical therapist that comes to my house M-W-F at 9am. Wednesday I was able to bend my knee 78 degrees. I'm hoping it bends more than 80 degrees tomorrow during PT. I need to move this recovery along a little faster, I want to salvage some of my summer.
I haven't been able to go in the pool yet because my wound needs to be completely healed before submerging it in water. Not much worse than having a pool in the back yard and not being able to go in especially when we just had 6 days in a row of 90 degree weather. here's hoping I get better fast!!!
