Mother of Groom shopping

Have you done any formal dress shopping lately? It is so hard to find stores that carry dresses. I just don't like to buy clothes online. I want to go into a store and physically try them on to see how the clothes look on me. Well my son is getting married later this year (so happy and excited about this) so I went out shopping with my cousin to find a dress. I went to Macy's in North Attleboro at the emerald square mall and found soooo many formal dresses. If you need a dress, this is the place to go. I found a dress I really liked but they only had sizes that were too big for me. Yesterday I went to Macy's in Natick and this store had the dress as well but only sizes too small for me. Fortunately I found an extremely helpful and happy sales woman named Helen. She found the dress in my size at several other Macy stores but also suggested that she order that dress and ship to my house. She also suggested that I open a Macy's free charge account to save 30%. So I did and got a beautiful mother of the groom dress for only $70. I can't wait to get the dress which I was told will take 7-10 days to arrive at my house. Helen also helped with accessories and she was just as excited about shopping for the wedding as I was.

Now I have to go back to Macy's to find a new dress for the rehearsal dinner. I am just waiting for more of the spring and summer dresses to come out. If you need a dress, (lots of prom dresses there) I strongly suggest you check out Macy's selection. I will also add that all the regular prices are very good. Everything is around $100. I was expecting to pay around $300 for a dress so I am extremely happy with my $70. With the money I saved I can treat myself to a little weekend getaway.
