Play Ball!

Hello all you Red Sox fans...Big game tonight. If we win tonight then we take over first place. Did you watch last nights game? How about all those homeruns? I'm ready to see that again tonight. I love baseball season when we get close to the playoffs, especially when the Red Sox are having a good year. Game time in 10 minutes.

Go Red Sox! I love going to watch games at Fenway Park. Not to mention the fried dough is awesome!

well we didn't win this one, but we can still take 2 out of 3 and then be in a tie for first place.

Definately gontta keep a positive attitude when following a team! If you don't accept it when the loose then it won't be fun. Tampa Bay Rays are going down tonight!

Walk-Off... :( I'm so dissapointed. It was right there and then it slipped right through their grasps. But I will try to stay positive. Go Sox!!!

I haven't even watched the Red Sox a lot this year! Usually by this time I'm watching them every night but this year with golf and schoolwork I haven't had much free time after school. I did manage to catch last night's game though...Beckett pitched great. It's a shame they lost.

OH NOOOO! we should have won! But Beckett did awesome! I hope we still can tie for first!

I really like the Red Sox but unless I'm at the game, I find that I don't pay attention until it comes down to wire like now. I was just at Sundays game and my dad and I found where all the players come out and got 1 of the players to sign my ticket. We didn't know who he was but he ended up pitching on Monday. I think it was Pauley, still not sure.

To me baseball is really boring. It just takes too long. Theres too much time between every pitch and inning. And baseball players tend to spit a lot.
The Red Sox are a great team, but I can't stand sitting down and watching the painfully slow games.

I agree with Pete, I haven't watched the Sox this year as much as normal. Luckily I still catch most of their games on ESPN. Once it gets down to playoff time though, I'll definately watch every game.

I have not watched the Red Sox at all this season! I love watching them play even though it gets boring at times. I have never even been to a Red Sox game :( !!! Well, I hope they do great this season !!! Caroline, I agree, fried dough is amazing!! :)

I love the red sox <3! I also loving getting together with my family to watch a game or, when I'm lucky, go to one. Everyone keep cheering them on! :)

I'm on the same boat as Sam and Pete. This year I haven't really been watching too much of the Sox. However I do keep up to date with their progress and so far things are looking great! Go Sox!

I love the Red Sox. The game is intense despite the length as others may say. The game is only "painfully slow" if the veiwer doesn't understand the sport. Time and effort has to be put out for a nice throw. I would rather watch a pitcher's duel than a homerun derby anyday.

I don't usually watch sports on tv, but I'll watch a few minutes when my dad has it on tv. My family likes to have little gatherings to watch baseball and football, so some days my grandpa, aunts, and uncle will be over watching the game with my dad. But I do hope the Red Sox do well!

Caroline - you get to go watch games at Fenway? That's so cool! One time I went to see the Pawsox but that's not as fun... But I also love fried dough!

I haven't gotten my Sox on as much as I've wanted to this year, but I hope my teachers tone down the homework load come play-off time. Go Sox!

I wouldn't call baseball painfully slow but it does go by pretty slow sometimes and that can be boring. It's not as intense as, say, football because it's a totally different game. The most exciting parts are the last couple of innings where the Sox have to get a run or have to get the hitter out to win.

I usually do not watch baseball, but I agree with Dean, about baseball being slow, and it is also suspenseful, which is a part of what makes it so fun to watch!!

Im like Marie, I enjoy watching it if my family has it on t.v, but otherwise it wouldn't be my first pick. I always enjoy watching the games that really count though.

I think baseball is a great way to get the whole family together. However, I'm not a regular viewer but I usually do watch the playoff games. They are more exciting because they mean more than regular games.
