What's on your mind

This week is a special week for me. Thursday is my anniversary. no not my wedding anniversary, but my cancer free anniversary. 8 years ago I had surgery to remove cancer from my right lung.  Each year I go without the cancer returning decreases my chances of  "it" ever coming back. The doctors tell me if I can go 2 more years then I can stop having routine scans and check ups because the chance of this type of cancer returning after 10 years is slim to none. January 31st has become a very special day in my life!

The view outside is always so pretty right after the snow has fallen (like this morning). I was getting a little worried that we may not get any more snow this winter since the temperatures have been in the 50's, but thankfully the snow came today. Let's hope there is lots more to come in the next month.

It is my favorite time of the year. I love this holiday season especially because of all the TV specials. I love blogging all about them. The first specials are on this week. Friday night on CBS is Frosty the snowman at 8:00 then Frosty returns at 8:30, Hoops and YoYo ruin Christmas at 9:00 and SpongeBob Christmas at 9:30. I will have to put together a full list of Chrsitmas specials and get them posted here on my blog.
